I'm mixed between black and white and I hate the stereotype that we get made fun of all the time and people just assume stuff about the race.

But sometimes, it can be true I guess. For example, a lot of times when I hang out with my black friends they are saying "Ugh, why are you acting so white right now?" or if I'm having out with my white friends, I can tell they especially watch what they say around me because I'm half black.

And I HATE when people say "Oh, if you're half black, you're BLACK!" Like, why can't I embrace both sides of my heritage? @_@

I hate being asked if I worship Satan because I dress Gothic! but also when I go back to America to visit my family I am also asked if I drink tea along with the satanic stuff LOL

People usually think that I'm poor or have kids waiting for me at home. They also think I'm going to be loud and obnoxious. Nope, nope, and nope. I'm a student, smile a lot, really quiet and so shy they thought I was a mute in kindergarten.
So much for stereotypes!

All stereotypes are ignorant. I am an African American Females, and most White Guys think that we are freaks in the sheets, lol. I think it is crazy how people come up with crazy stereotypes!
