My cousin is 16 and my uncle cant deal with him any more. he dosent listen he tries to hit my uncle. They know he is doing drugs hes got cought stealing from other and my uncle, they also found a gun in his room. He has become very uncontrolable. What can be done? he has court comeing up and he wants to tell the judge he cant handle him anymore, but I dont know if the judge can do much. My uncle is not a bad person, he has an older son that is fine but just this bad apple is making my uncle go crazy. What can they do besides moving out of INGLEWOOD CA or just kicking him out?

The police can help more than anybody else in this situation. You have to call the police every time the boy does something illegal. I think it is very wise for your uncle to tell the court that he can't handle the boy. The judge has a lot of options; probation, house arrest, juvenile hall, placement in a therapeutic group home.
If your uncle spanks him (I assume you are not talking about abuse), the police will back him up. If the boy hits his uncle, he can be arrested and booked.
But you have to be persistent. The police are busy, and if you don't keep calling them, they assume you are okay.

I agree with everyone else Boot Camp!!! Yes the court can do something exspecially if the Uncle request help, the cops can get him on possesion of drugs,abuse of the uncle, possesion of a weapon by a minor, plus no f.o.i.d. The judge can through him in and lock him up for a good while. The only other thing that will happen to this boy is he will get worse and even could result in his or someone elses life someday.

Coming from a long history of that kind of thing.....I think that boot camp should be considered. I have custody of my little bro. who is 16 and well sometimes he acts in that manner and well we don't hesitate to remind him of that option. He is awaiting his courtdate to find out whether or not he will be sent to tyc or not and he knows one more mess up now that my husband and I have him and his little butt is gone. No parent should have to deal with that especially when there is ppl and facilities out there willing to help.

your uncle needs to beat the hell out of him and if he hits back your uncle should beat him even harder.if the cops are called your uncle can simplly say he was in a gang fight.

Boot camp or the military should set him straight but if you don't want that just kick him out. One of his gang members will take him in. Just forget about him if he is that bad. But I'd choose boot camp or military.

You can have him arrested for gun posession under age, and unlicensed. Then have him put into a juvinile detention center out of town.

They cant do nothing about it. I was the same way (i kind of still am i still have my gun and i still smoke weed) and my parents couldnt stop me. Its what he wants to do man. I changed because it was a dying wish....BUT I WILL NEVER THROW AWAY MY PISTOL!!! AHAH!

i think the best solution might be juvenil hall and to realize that the kid is pretty doomed...the uncle needs to beat the kid:)xao
