and im also scared for my future..my cousin had the same problem when she was a kid and now she is not able to have a baby..of course she's getting treated now but she has been married for almost 4 years now and still no pregnancy...will i have the same problem? help!

I was like you too. I would only get my period every three or four months for years. As I got older my doctor would just say, "oh," when I would tell her. I didn't mind except that I never knew when it would come. Sometimes they put girls on oral contraceptives to regulate it. My sister had to have that at 15. I didn't do it until I was older. I am now in my thirties with two children and my period is now like clockwork. The body is a strange thing.

However, I would definately discuss it with your doctor just to rule out anything else.

Good luck.

I have been told that if it is over three months without one you should see a doctor. I have that problem as well. Excercise should help with the blood flow. The more you excercise the easier the periods you have are. At least, more bearable. I really think you need to go to a doctor. Sometimes taking birth control pills can help lessen your flow, but I am not sure if that is a good idea with you skipping periods like that.

this is not a heritary problem, this is due to the fact you are young, body fat , stress and eating patterns can cause your period to chagne often. even adult women especially professional athleats dont have a period every month, its because they have very low body fat and train alot, but this is not healthy.... go to the doctor if you have concerns. i had this problem and the doctor sugested the pill, though i was not sexually active it helped regulate my period and i got pregnante 2 months ago. I've been on the pill since i was 13 so 10 years later no harm done. look into it but be careful ... good luck

I have heard of persons getting pregnant with out precise penetration so it's viable. I do not consider it is most likely regardless that. When you're younger, intervals may also be abnormal and unpredictable. I'm 28 and my interval might be at the equal date for months at a time, after which difference to one more date for months at a time. It does not imply that you're pregnant. Take a being pregnant experiment and if you're fairly involved, see a health practitioner. It does now not sound like you're pregnant regardless that.
