GM Motors built one about 2 years ago, it generates enough power to power a street, and works. But at the moment the technology is too expensive to use conventionally. The car (an equivalent to a Vauxhall Vectra) cost £1,000,000 to build. In about 15 years its believed it will be rivaling what Hybrid technology currently does, and will be mainstream in about 35 years.

Yes.
A number of manufacturers are developing cars powered by hydrogen fuel cells - Honda have even leased one FCX to a private individual in California, and a few more on a small Japanese island, and some to businesses in both locations.
DaimlerChrysler have also leased some fuel-cell powered versions of the old A-Class in California, and have also built some fuel-cell buses.
There is a fuel-cell black cab somewhere in London.
Mazda have developed a version of the RX8 that uses Hydrogen to power its Renesis rotary engine, and have homologated it for road use.
BMW have just started production of the 760h, which uses hydrogen to power a conventional v12 spark-ignition engine.
Try a websearch for "Honda FCX", "GM Sequel", "Mercedes-Benz F-Cell", "Renesis Hydrogen" or "BMW 760h"

BMW have built a 7 series powered by hydrogen that was all over the UK press a couple of months ago.
Bad press though as the coverage wasn't about how green it was but about the fact that cost about £60k and was very likely to blow up!

There's only one in the world. It costs over 12 million, James May from Top Gear showed it the other day, it does'nt have peddles either it uses mad squeeze controls on the steering wheel, if you can call it that, very strange machine.
