i got sonyericson z1010 every time i connect it to pc a message is displayed hardware not installed because nessasry software was not found so where do i get the software from is tere any site on internet where i can get it for free

You have to install the cd given with your mobile. It contains a pc suite software. which connects your mobile to pc via data cabel.

if u don't have a CD for it then when the message comes that 'software not installed' click on the icon then there will come a setup wizard though it will take some time then it will automatically get installed then u can easily download songs,pics,etc

ur system should b installed with a driver(software) in order to detect the instrument u connect to it , send and receive datas.
same is for ur mobile too.
go to sonyericson web site and download the pc suite for ur handset, install in ur system and send datas to and from ur mobile
