My other com jsut shows the desktop pic, and whatever i do it won't restrt or show any other signs of life! what is it?????

it's only like 4 months old, and if it is froze, then why desn't it show all the other things on desktop, like the trash bin, and the Start line on the bottom

It froze. Unplug it, plug it back in, restart. Then get online and go to trendmicro.com and run their "house call," an online virus scan.

control alt delete 3 times in a row...and then restart it. Or just hard shut it off by pushing power or unplug it.

did it freeze? just shut it off. it might be an old computer so i suggest getting a new one if it is.
