Reggie Bush is a rookie who has had two great games in his career, and the rest of them were just "average."
LT has broken the NFL's touchdown record, and basically single handedly wins games for the Chargers. Their offense is completely built around the guy.
At this point in their careers, you cannot even compare the two, they are on whole different levels.

This is like comparing apples and oranges. LT is the first and second option on his team. Antonio Gates is the third and fourth. LT is a great blocker, can catch out of the backfield and by the way can throw the ball. LT has a GREAT line blocking for him. Have you seen the size of the holes he has to run through?! Even on the back side when the line is trap blocking, he is very patient and then explodes through the gap. LT runs north and south and over anyone in the secondary, when they aren't chasing him. The Chargers have designed their whole offense around LT (both running and passing).
Reggie Bush needs to be the feature back on his team. Since he shares carries with Deuce, his stats will pale in comparison to those put up by LT. Granted, Reggie is exciting, but he is a rookie and still has a lot to learn. His blocking skills need to improve and he needs to put on about 10-15 lbs to take the pounding over a 16 game season.
If that isn't enough, how many fantasy owners would rather start Reggie Bush over LT? NONE!!!

Im a big Reggie Bush fan but he is in no way better than LT, its not even close. LT Just set the single season touchdown record and if he were to retired today would be considered one of the greatest running backs of all time. Reggie struggled most of the season and is just putting up good numbers so their not even compaireble. About the only thing i think Reggie is better than LT is receiving out of the backfield, you get reggie in the open field and i dont think theres a better player in the NFL, but he is not a very good runner.

Although Reggie is a very fluid runner he lacks the power of Tomlinson when impacting the line. Give Reggie five plus years and a little more experience at how to adjust at the line a little weight and a lot of good offensive lineman who by the way make a runners job easier .Then and only then will he be as good as Tomlinson

Bush gained the Heisman, yet hes grow to be a unhappiness. he's effortless interior the NFL, and has not stood as much as his NCAA hype. He went halfway by way of his 2006 without scoring a single landing, and 2007 with in basic terms 6 He in basic terms ran 581 yds. So he's not the suitable. Tomlinson became drafted first around, alongside with Michael Vick. In 2003, he grew to grow to be the 1st participant ever to hurry one million,000 yds and checklist one hundred receptions. He has long gone to the Probowl thrice. In 2005, he scored around 30. 2006, he scored 19 touchdowns in a entire of 6 video games, then happening to attain 29 TDs in 13 video games. He became additionally offered the NFL AP MVP. In 2007, he became had the main dashing yds interior the NFL Is he the suitable, probably. Peterson broke the checklist for the main dashing yds in one interest, 296. He additionally rushed over 2 hundred yds in his rookie 12 months. it remains the utmost yds ran by a rookie ever. He additionally made the 2008 NFC professional bowl team, which he started. He gained the MVP for the probowl. He additionally got here in 2d in the back of Tomlinson for 1341 yds rushed. Or is he the suitable? it extremely is perplexing to assert, for anybody has different evaluations, yet i've got faith that Tomlinson is the suitable, in basic terms because of the fact of consistency. i think of that Peterson will grow to be the the NFLs suitable working returned, yet he nevertheless has to instruct that he can do what he did in his rookie occupation in 2008.

Not now, not ever, not even close. As much as the saints want him to be the next L.T. he is nowhere near as good. He's too small to run effectively between the tackles, he can't block, his passing attempt was pathetic. About the only thing he's really effective in is the passing game, but L.T. is better at that as well (remember L.T.s 100 catch season?). Don't try to compare these two, it's an insult to L.T.

Heck No!!! Bush is a rookie and needs 4-5 years of consistency in the NFL before any talk about an LT comparison is even close to legitimate! Potential sure, however, he's yet to finish his first year so get real! Wait, at least 3 more years; Please...

Not a chance. His plays may look better on the highlight reel, but LaDainian's the best all-around back we've seen in a while.
First things first: let's see Bush be a feature back and/or average more than 3.2 yards per carry. Then we can reopen the discussion.
