If you ask a question about an itchy vagina even to a obgyn. he'll ask about stds. it could be a yeast infection or bladder infection. first try an over the counter insert such as monistat. but if that doesn't work she may be faced to answer the std question from a professional.

Yeast infection, you don't need to be sexually active to get one and some women find that it itches like crazy. If it were an STD, she would see some kind of a sore or something "down there".

i think it might be a yeast infection. you can get that even if you are a virgin. and thrush is a mouth yeast infection, btw.
get some vagisil and see if it helps
