It depends on the person, of course. I like some French people very much, and others not so much. The same is true of the people I've met from other nations as well.
Most of the Americans who run around saying they hate the French have never stepped foot outside of this country and are reacting to stereotypes. The same thing applies to most people who hate others based on nationality.
Ignorance breeds intolerance.

I dont have a problem with french people. Now, I did meet this one french guy once, and he was trying to sweet talk me. I did not apprecaite that, but I know it would be wrong for me to make a generalization about French People as a whole bc I had one bad experience with that guy.

I have always believed that the French and English are basically very similar but like suburban neighbours, we bicker over petty things.
I have an admiration for the French who have considerably more national pride than we English.

Yes, I do and I'm English. They are traditionally hostile to each other but I would have preffered to have been born French than English. You have elegant women, passion, great films and good food.

i mean their ok, it depaneds on who they are, i mean there are many countries in the world who have people that are terrible!
But i luv the french fries and movies..
