Is there a way to keep your connection from timing out on Second Life?

I try to make money by dancing while i sleep or go to work, but i always get logged off due to inactivity. Is there a macro or a script that will run a chat loop or something so i will remain online?

There are plenty of anti-idle items on the market in SL. I have an Anti-Idle radar, so it tells me who is in the 96m range, and keeps me from timing out. Go to www.slexchange.com and look up anti-idle, and you can see who makes them and visit their store, or buy one on the website, and they will deliver to you in world.
