Can Someone get away with stuff?

Can Someone get away with murder if there dad is a sherf cop?
because there a guy, at school who is tryin to hurt me, if he did could he hide it and get away ,with it if his dad's a sherf cop?

nowadays, it's not likely to get away with murder regardless of someone's dad's occupation. depending on how bad the guy is trying to hurt you, the guy can go to jail. and, i hate to say this, no matter how best someone's attempt is to hide a murder, the authorities are going to eventually find out about it, thanks to DNA-testing and surveillance tools.
