You are not giving enough information. Is your bleeding red? Is it the pink watery afterflow that you are supposed to get as you heal? I have friends who have had it and they did not bleed that long.

Call the doctor back and don't be shy! A total Hysterectomy means that you indeed DON'T have a cervix anymore. You should not still be bleeding. Maybe you have pulled loose some of your stitches or have a tag of tissue loose on the inside that is being aggravated. An exam may help to identify the problem.

Also, here is website that is very helpful. Yes, the Hystersisters exist! You can register and get lots of information and support as you go through the aftermath over the next few years.

Good luck!

It might be they left some special thread they use for the internal sewing. It happened to a friend of mine, the doctor simply removed this bit of thread and the bleeding was over. So better go check with the guy who operated on you or any gynecologist to see if that is really the cause of the bleeding.

maximum of those questions i cant answer for you, yet i'm in a position to tell you that my close aunt had a hysterectomy. She would not advise it till mandatory, she says that she has little to no libido, or in step with probability her vaginal secretion has replaced. those problems have effected her sexual exhilaration by way of the time of intercourse. Sorry to take heed to approximately those problems, yet your wide-spread practitioner can in all probability answer the something of those questions for you. good luck, and that i desire you're making the final selection for you. :)
