In the UK almost everywhere requires a photo ID with a credit card purchase. If the name on the card does not match the id, he won't be able to use it. Call you CC company and get one issued in the kids name, then he shouldn't have a problem.

Yes, your child should be able to use your credit card in the UK. It really depends on what credit card company you have.

Hey- when my sister and I went to UK, my parents got us cards with our names on them, so there would be no problems. As soon as we got back to the US, they took them away. They COULD have a problem abroad using your card, just as they COULD have a problem at home. They're technically not supposed to do it, so technically, they could get turned down everywhere.

Depends if you want him to. He can probably use it over the 'phone/net, cardholder not present. Be careful
