btw, i don't hate the movie. i thought it was hilarious I was just wondering what other people think.

It's the character who's prejudiced, not the film or the people behind it. Sacha Baron Cohen is Jewish himself, and speaks Hebrew in the film, making it wildly popular with Israeli audiences who understand what he's saying. The presence of a prejudiced character actually serves to highlight the foolishness of such individuals.

well i havnt really seen the movie but i heard it was hysterical. i think that they show the content of the movie in previews. so those who are offended made the choice to watch. and i heard that most of the racist jokes were made from true facts. so i dont see that much of a problem although it was a pretty racist movie.

I loved it due to it's stereotypical attitude, that's what makes things hilarious these days!

The movie is pathetically bad, is all. Tom Green and Adam Sandler eat this guy alive in any of their movies. Heck, Jessica Simpson is more entertaining.

no, it isn't racist. the "racist" jokes are jokes about racism and how ridiculous it is. think of the scene where they're at the jewish family's bed and breakfast and throwing money at the cockroaches they think are their hosts who have shapeshifted in order to decieve them.
