He will have a positive impact on the city and his team mates coz of how big of a prospect he was. As far as his game goes tht is uncertain. I think he'll have at least 17 wins but it all matters to how well he adapts

He will win 15-17 games and establish himself as the real deal against Major League hitting. The $52 mil will seem like a bargain compared to the $55 mil for GIL MECHE. Red Sox will be the 2007 champs with Schilling, Beckett, Matsuzaka, Papelbon, and Wakefield as the best rotation in baseball.

he will have a huge impact. he will prob win about 20 games. he was dominating in the japanese league. now that he is on the red sox, jonathan papelbon will become a closer with his 0.92 ERA. he might also influence roger clemens to come to boston and NOT to the yankees which would help the red sox pitching and make it the best starting 5 in the league.

hopefully if he's anything like what we've seen from japan and the wbc, he'll be pretty dominant. but i think a realistic expectation could be something around 16 - 19 wins, a 3 era and hopefully a good number of k's. go sox!

Ticket prices everywhere will continue to soar and the average fan will be forced to take on second or even third jobs to pay these over-bloated ********** for their little do da day !!!
