No the little light goes off. I think it is activated to come on when you open the door.

No, there is a small push switch inside the fridge which turns the light on when you open the door and turn the light off when the door is closed. Look inside and you should see a small pin on the side where the light is and push it in with your finger. You will see that the light is turned off and when you release it the light comes on.

No. There is a small switch that goes in and out just like your car doors have.
When you open the door, it goes into the extended mode which activates your light.
When you close the door, it retreats and shuts off the light.
Mine is in the middle between the thermostat setting dials for the refrigerator and freezer. Look and you shall find.

no it doesn't . when you open the fridge it releases pressure on a button and that turns the light on. when you close the door, it hits the button, turning the light off. At least that's what happens with my fridge.

No it dosen't. There is a small switch which is depressed when you close the door - look and you'll find it (in not sure how it works in newer models) and when you press it the light goes off just like that!

There's a little push button somewhere in the doorhinge so you can switch it off with the door still open if you want to prove it to yourself. I'm off to watch some paint dry!!
