Do you ever think that when you meet someone?

Truthfully if I meet a guy who seems interesting, and I find out he's a Libra, I'm so tempted to hit the road! The very thought just sent me down to the Toblerone chocolate, *sigh*.

7/10 guys I've gone out with have been Libras. ALL but 1 of the men who have been significant relationships in my life have been Libras. I swear, I could walk into a party, and within 10 minutes I'll have found at least 2 Libras, or they will have found me.

Do I prefer them? Hmmm...The good things about Libra men: they are rarely if ever coarse or vulgar, they never forget you're a woman, smart women don't turn them off, they can talk about anything, and even listen. You can take them places and not be afraid they are going to show up at a good restaurant dressed for Lollapalloza, you can take them home and they can handle the family. They like to try new things and they are fun!

The bad thing, the very very bad thing: they can be the "peace at any price" type. If something is bothering them, they would rather keep it to themselves than say something, provoking an argument or (god forbid) a long discussion. So you just go along lalala all is good, never having a clue. Meanwhile, the bothering thing, since no one but the Libra is aware that it is actually bothering, keeps occurring unmentioned. And building up. Believe it or not, the best case scenario for this, out of proportion though it might be, is an outburst of all that pent up resentment. The worst case is quieter, emotional detachment which may or may not involve cheating.

I'm the type of person who wants to know, right away, if something isn't right. Even if setting it right means going to the unpretty and not leaving till things are settled, this is me. Maybe it's opposites attracting?

So I guess my preference is also my recipe for eventual disaster. I'm thinking that, next time, maybe a Pisces with some decent fire sign placements (moon, etc), or a sweet Taurus who isn't too retro. Wish me luck!

I'm a Scorpio, and I prefer Cancer as a partner. I didn't intentionally choose that either. Once I started getting into astrology I decided to start looking at people's sun signs and just about every woman I've been interested in or involved with has been a Cancer. They're always shy and may appear cold or shrewd, but underneath they're so sweet & sensitive.

The worst for me is Libra. I was engaged to a Libra and there's a very deep attraction at first but they have to be the most frustrating sign in the zodiac. They're indecisive, compulsive liars in order to avoid conflict, emotionally controlling & manipulative, short-tempered, think of themselves as perfect, and are full of false flattery. They make you feel like the greatest person in the world only to turn around and do it to the person next to you. And then they start making promises and commitments to everyone and before you know it, you don't feel so great anymore and the Libra has contradicted herself into a lonely corner. They seem to have a hard time keeping friends. They can never make a decision and they change like the weather. Their short temper is unbelievable and they can't handle the slightest criticism because it's an insult to their perfection. I can't stand them. Other Scorpios, Don't be drawn in by their charm, that intense attraction only lasts so long.

3 Bad ratings eh? Must be a lot of Librans here. Which only proves how perfect they think they are.

I absolutely think that with everyone I meet, not just potential lovers. I think the best way to figure why you are attracted to a particular sign, whether m or f or platonic or otherwise is to look what sing your venus is in, that will determine what you like (love) as far as qualities in a person. That doesn't mean you are going to love that person ... the ascendant would show who YOU attract as the ascendant is what the world sees, not necessarily who you are ... so, in answer to your question, YES I always wonder what sign a person is not necessarily if I prefer one over the other.

Thanks for reading....

I'm a Capricorn, and while I seem to be forever ending up in relationships with Cancer men (most of whom are nice, but it doesn't last), I'm utterly drawn to Virgo men. There's something about both the creativity and the sheer depth of the men I've known in my life who were Virgos that completely bowls me over.

As far as when I meet someone, do I try to find out their sign? No, not really. It usually tends to be one of those hindsight things. "Ohhh. He was a virgo? That explains a lot." Usually meaning.. my god, I was so absurdly attracted to that person.. and they looked right through me.

Oh, did I forget to mention that part? Yeah... as much as I adore virgo men, I am very much like a piece of furniture in the room to them. Completely invisible.

I'm a scorpio and seem to get a hold of earth signs a lot.. that and people with leo as their sign... But the ones I'm most atracted to seem to be the virgos or ones with a heavy influence of them... With the main problem I've been having is trying to keep one (when you two get attached, they seem to run as the scorp in me tries to see the real them, and it's like a uphill battle getting to know more the facade)

This fairly relies upon, for example a Scorpio solar and Pisces may placed on the leash to a Pisces solar and Aries moon may keep the Scorpio in leash warning signs that opt to keep their companion on a leash: Scorpio, Taurus and Leo warning signs that opt to placed on the leash: Scorpio, Libra and Virgo

Well, it depends. For some hot, passionate, fun and energetifc time and great sex, Aries are often the best. When it comes to having interesting conversations, eighter a smarties like talkative Gemini or nerdy Virgos.
