ideally, wouldn't want to see them, smell them, or bin them. I'm more than sure they're here, cause the bin liner was bit. i've already bought some traps, but din not place them yet, cause I wouldn't want to face them on my way back home. But, i guess traps are better than poison cause you don't have to start looking behind cupboards after the "massacre" takes place. Have you tackled with such a situation, If yes, what did you do? the results?

There are some lovely green blocks that work great, they poison them but they dehydrate them completely. If they don't leave to find water they just dry up....no smell, no nothing except a carcass if you find it that resembles a piece of paper. Traps work well but can be quite annoying, if you choose that route use peanut butter, but only a small dab. If its too easy for them to get they not get snagged in it. My favorite method is a kitten or cat! They are far less annoying and destructive than mice.

Glue traps are the best method to trap rats and mice.

I would use traps and after you catch one, throw the mouse and trap in the outside garbage. If you use poison they can die in the walls and stink for weeks.
