yes, it's ok. i have done it for over 20 years, and no problem. even the doc says so. it may sound a little nasty, but it works fine.

NO, your saliva has bacteria in it,,,, go to a sink and rinse it with water,,,, making sure to block the drain with a stopper or paper towel,,, if no water is available, just hold it till you get to some,,, as last resort,, blink a few times for moisture,, then gently blow on the contact to remove any dirt/dust particles,,then insert it,,,,, you also can buy tiny bottles of eye moisturizing solution, these will work in a pinch, keep one in your pocket

No. That is not very sanitary. Use some water. Try carrying eye drops around with you, and then you can rinse your contacts with eye drops. They also sell little bottles of solution especially made to stick in your pocket. That would be your best option.

Hi,,, why not rinse it off and use just plain water to put it back in with .. spit will do in a pinch,, but its not very good..
