Yes I would very much recommend it, because it is one of the few, or maybe the only documentary summarising in such a way what is known about the issue of climate change. The presentation is lively and easy to understand.
The speaker is making his point very well and uses some events from his life to explain why the subject has his passion. Not everyone agrees that he should do that, but my experience is that it is not annoying and gives you some time in between movie parts to let things sink in.

I would recommend it because it makes it's point in a clear, easy-to-watch manner which is usually all I want in a documentary. Be forewarned, though, Al Gore does spend some time off the subject to promote himself but it is worth seeing as a rental nonetheless.

No. I read the book, and because of the old rule that books are better, I won't even consider the movie.... but here's a synopsis anyway......http://www.climatecrisis.net/aboutthefilm/
