How about Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain. These are the two players that draw the most comparisons because people always contend that one or the other is the greatest.
If you are only looking for current players I would compare Tony Parker and Gilbert Arenas. How does the international game compare the american one.

The two best examples I can think of are Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell. Both came out of College around the same time, early 60s and both revolutionized the center position in the NBA, not to mention they broke racial barriers as they were both one of the first African Americans to play in the league and dominate the game. Wilt is arguably the best center of all time, he still holds the record for most points in a game with 100 and rebounds with 55, but Russell, though not as impressive with individual skills was a great center on a great team and he won more championships as player and coach that anyone else in history.
I think this would be a great topic,
good luck!

Do the 2 players have to be playing right now or can they be NBA legends? Do you want there to be more similarties or differences between the 2? Make your question more specific. If you want there to be more similarties then you should choose 2 players who play the same position (like a forward and a forward), but if you want there to be more differences then you should choose 2 players who play different positions (like a guard and a center). I would write about 2 people who are the top players in the NBA right now (so maybe Lebron James and Dwyane Wade, or Kobe). Or you can choose people who retired (like Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson). Or you can combine the two groups and write about MJ and LBJ

J. Oneal and V. Carter. They both are great at small forward and probably are the best there is in that position. I mean, a lot of people don't talk a lot about these two. They have to get recognized man.
