last night i added two baby guppies to my five gallon tank, they werent that small they were about 1/2 an inch, in the morning when i was going to feed the fish they weren't there.

In the tank I have three guoramis', three angel fish, a guppi and a chinese algea eater. the gouramis vary in size the biggest is about two inches the other is about 1 inch, and the other is not even an inch yet, the angel fish are the same size about 1 inch including the back fin, the guupie is not even an inch, the chinese algea eater is about 2 inches.

Also im not even sure what type of guoramies they are, the one i've seen look totally different according to color, two are grey with thick black stripes going up and down and they are starting to get a shiny blue color around there gills, and the smallest i think its albino because its a peachy pink color almost seethrough.

Gouramis ate your poor lil guppy fry. They would have eaten them in the early morning, if your tank gets daylight. Bcoz thats the time when the guppies both adult and fries sleep at the tank bottom and would have been a meal for your gouramis. Angels of 1 inch wont attack on a half an inch guppy, especially when they are only threem however they would try if they were a school.
Take care . do not add ur guppy fries into the community tank untill they are strong enough as the adults to ascape. However , even adult male guppies being weaker than the females get eaten by algae eater bigger than 3 inches. Yours ia a poor 2 inch one, he wud not have eaten. Its ur gourami. Sorry.

I actually have a tank of my personal with 2 guppies(one lady and one male). I merely were given a sparkling 1gal tank for breeding applications. that is a very inexpensive and straightforward to ascertain gadget for beginers to breeding livebearers. aspect is, your guppy WILL devour her fry (offspring) in the adventure that they do no longer have any hiding places. also the different fish contained in the tank will also discover the frys a delectable snack in the adventure that they don't look to be separated from the tank right away. in case you opt for the more youthful guppies to live to inform the tale, you want to get a small tank, or you may purchase a floating tank from maximum interior sight fish shops, then you actually positioned the fry into the tank and watch them strengthen :) I actually have had one live to inform the tale by technique of itself with out any separation from the tank friends yet all of his brothers and sisters were eaten (about 20 of them). sturdy success inclusive of your guppies :)

Any and all of those fish could have eaten your guppy fry. Most fish are opportunistic and given the chance will eat other fish fry.

If you plan on keeping any of the baby guppies alive you'll want to get a breeding net of some sort to keep the babies segregated from the rest of the tank. Something like this product: http://fishgeeks.cheappetstore.com/product_info.php?products_id=22599

parent guppies are even known to eat their own young, especially if the parent is not particularly older; if you plan to have more young; get a small nursery tank to affix to the side; they can grow there until they no longer resemble a meal. Good luck

Guoramis & Angels both could have eaten them. Both are aggressive, fish eating fish. They don't have to have been able to swallow them whole to have eaten them.
