I met them on line they said they had a repair business i gave them a ton fo laptop parts they were to deliver desktop next morning its been 2 weeks and i still have no computer ,,,i know your thinking iam a real dumb ---and your proberly right iam just too trusting any way what can i do ?..thanks

2 weeks is too soon to really worry. Unless you had a set delivery date you may have to wait 6-8 weeks.

I would check the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of your state and see if the guy has complaints against him. Taking this to court will be difficult because you did a trade but filing a complaint after 60 days with the BBB may help.

You're not dumb.

If they live in the same city where you live, file a police report. Go to your police department and ask if there is anything you can do. If it were E-bay they would intervene for you. When you make your own contacts its your loss. Never deal online with people you don't know. It's too easy to get scammed!
