I'm really bad at the romantic stuff, but I'd like to propose to my girl. I only have one shot to get it right, so I want to try my best. Does anyone have any suggestions, tips, or creative ideas on how to propose?

Well if she prefers simplicity over overly demonstrative acts (like me), my husband did it just right.

He put my ring in the bottom of a very large box which was filled with packing material and this was my very last Christmas gift to open. When I finally got to it and pulled out the jewelry box, he was right there on the floor with me. As I opened it and it was registering that it was actually an engagement ring, he proposed with a simple "Will you marry me?".

That was 14 years ago this coming Christmas and our anniversary is in May. We are still happy and in love. Just follow your heart and it will be okay. Just do it!

I love you. You take my breath away and make me say things that make no sense..... darling will you marry me? oh wait... I havent answered your question! how do u mean u only have one chance to get it right! is she is so shallow that romance is all she is thinking about! anyway i think it is really sweet that u are asking for advice online. Tell her you love her. tell her why you want to marry her. tell her why she makes you happy. dont go creative if you are not, it will flop. she is smart not to go for a romantic guy tho... that way she can see the real you and not the salesman in u. G O O D L U C K!!!!!

#1. This question has nothing to do with Beauty & Style. Did I really need to tell you that?
#2. If you truly love the person, then you'll find the "right" way to propose to her. No one should have to give you pointers or tips. My husband simply asked me to marry him... it worked.

My son put the engagement ring in a box of carefully opened and sealed Cracker Jacks. Then when they were watching a movie at his gf's house, he handed her the 'right' box of Cracker Jacks....and they both were eating from seperated boxes, when she pulled out the gorgeous ring he bought her. Then he simply asked, "Will you marry me?"....

you should take her to a restaurant and when you are done eating, you could take out a ring and ask her if she woud like to be with you forever!!!! you could also send her a letter asking her if she would like to marry you, and you could put flowers and a ring in the envelope also!! I hope i could help, I wish you good luck!!!!
