Do you believe there are hidden treasures somewhere in this world? I mean like a chest full of gold and precious jewels. If you were going treasure hunting, where would you look? This treasure would be from what country? left from which century?

Yes for sure there is much more than has already been found, in Egypt for example only a very small percentage has been found.
Where would I look? Under the front feet of the Sphinx, the Egyptians wont allow excavations at this time because of the danger of collapse, but tests have proved that there is certainly some thing under there.
The sea bed has hardly been touched, yes there is still gold 'in them thar hills'!
I would like to go and look for myself, but I have a job finding my specs these days!

I wouldn't doubt that there are 'hidden treasures' in the world. With so many people living on the earth and so much space, of course there are probably some people, whether they be rich, pirates, smugglers etc, that have buried some of their prized possessions. There have been many ancient empires that have not been traceable from the lack of artifacts, which are probably buried feet beneath the surface, most likely by natural disaster. Sailors may have accidentally dropped something over the ship, and there could be treasure at the bottom of the ocean. Much 'treasure' is probably never to be seen again, and could be hidden under tons of dirt/buildings/cities. Though it seems to be a common, may you call it, 'misconception' that the treasure would be buried/be full of gold and precious jewels. Many treasures may lie in attics of old, old houses that no one bothers to look at.
