I accidentally posted this in the wrong section...so I'm putting it here as well.

Although I haven't lost my period yet, I should be getting it in about 5 days to a week. I'm just curious if I could be displaying some symptoms before I find out whether I lost my period. I'm not freaking out too much, not until I've lost my period....just wondering what kind of symptoms you can get in about a week and a half...

I have a book and it says:

You were two weeks pregnant when you missed your first period, and you've already been pregnant six weeks when you missed your second.
Breasts tender.
Your pregnancy test will turn positive 10 days after missed period.
Nausea.
Feeling tired.
.. That's about it .. hope that helps a little. :)

OK, I knew exactly which day that I got pregnant with all 3 of my kids and each time, my first symptom was a heightened sense of smell, although many women do not experience this. At this time, I also began feeling nauseas (sp). When my period was supposed to occure, I had slight cramps and tender breasts. My third pregnancy, I actually had very light bleeding when I would have had my period.

There are lots of resources online regarding pregnancy but the key to remember is that each woman and each pregnancy are different. Not everybody experiences the same things. Good luck. I'll pray for you, if you don't mind.

With me, my breast got very tender. Not like when your on your period, it's a different kind of sore. I cramped like I was going to start, but never did. And that was 10 weeks ago, I just went to the doc. and I got to see it, and it moved...

I don't think most women have any pregnancies signs until their about 6 weeks, which is when you first miss a period. (you count from the first date of your last period, btw) if anything you'd feel sick and have sore breasts.
Good luck!

I don't think there is any "symptoms" for a week and a half. maybe some nausea. When people say "symptoms" it always makes me think of a disease. Being pregnant is not a disease. hahahaha

There are no symptoms at a week and a half. If you're uncertain, go buy yourself a pregnancy test.
