Yes. The scientist need to confront the issue before its to late! My idea is to have a fart canister. Law making it mandatory for everyone to wear. Small ones for the pooters and extra-large the fart kings. When it's full a red light appears then you take it to a selected site. They are collected, shot into space and then detonated. On a clear night it should make an interesting firework and you could rest assured your farts were being dealt with! I spend many sleepless nights worrying about farts, don't you? This will save the environment and make air pleasant to breath for the rest of us! :) Al "Superman" Gore needs to step up and implement this program with Howard "Scream for me" Dean holding his back!

Funny...but true. Yes its true, farts contain methane, which is a global warming gas. If you add up the methane released from 6 billion humans farting several times a day, it definitely does add up. Actually, one of the worst sources of methane from farts is from beef cattle, so many millions of them are raised that the amount of methane they release is considered a serious factor in global warming.
This is off topic..sort of. A TV show about Hitler's addiction to methedrine mentioned in ...passing....that he had a prescription for anti-flatulence medicine. Somehow the image of Hitler farting, well...cracks me up. Ha ha. That might be the only amusing Hitler story in the world.
