Are there any fantastic places in Houston to see an excellent show?

I am talking about the theater, not for movies, but for plays, live performances (not rock/rap concerts) just a nice relaxing play with excellent acting, like the AD Players. Are there any other places like that?

University of Houston has one of the best non-professional opera programs in the South. The music conservatory at Rice is also very good.

The Alley Theater is the professional theater in Houston.
