Ok, if your kitchen floor was covered in water, then a wire full of electricity was about to come in to contact with it, would you do the splits on the kitchen counter to get away from being electrocuted?

Ah, the first answer by someone who hasn't even seen one of his "best" movies. Rent "Time Cop" and wait for the coolest, cheesiest scene in cinema history.

catch the wire before it hits ground as it will only be bare at the end so should be safe to hold it plus why is water on kitchen floor health n safety

yes i would, than I would fly through the air to the breaker box and shut off all the electric, than I would use the mop handle, that im using to mop the floor, to fight all the bad people in the dark, and I would win, because its my movie.

it's no worse than fouling a 6 inch megga-watt cable with your badly disabled boat, grabbing it with your bare hands[soaking wet!!] and thrusting it into an abnormally large ,very pissed of shark's mouth!!....and living!!

It's all Hollywood. The guys is known to do splits in most of his movies so they had to add it to the movie.
