You are no longer a qualified driver for the period of disqualification. As the Road traffic Act stands a provisional licence holder (learner) needs supervision from a qualified driver who has held the type of licence for the class of vehicle the learner driver is learning to drive. They must have held this licence for no less than 3 years to be able to supervise a learner driver. See this site for further information. http://www.dvla.gov.uk this will give you licence information.

Not if they are not allowed passengers or are engaged in learning. Why would a provisional driver want a banned driver around for. Bad habits come on their own. Dont need to be taught.

No. The supervisor has to be able to assume control should the learner be unable to continue, and without a license a banned driver could not assume control, and could not take over driving legally if the learner had to stop. A banned driver has been deemed unfit for the road, therefore they are not considered fit to teach road manners to a learner.

No.You need a valid license to accompany a learner driver. And a ban means preciesly that.No license.I think that both the banned driver and the learner driver can be prosecuted for this as its an offence under the road traffic act.

yes because you would be the passenger in that case, what happens to the driver with the provisional license is another story. Normally a person with a provisional license cant carry passengers but depends on the situation. But nothing would happen to you.

No, the passenger HAS to be a licensed driver. If you're "banned" you're not licensed.

You can sit in the seat if you want, but it does not cover the driver
requirement for a qualified driver.
