My brother in law is getting drunk uncontrolled. We have tried many things to keep him away from alcohol. Please suggest better option so that he can keep himself away for ever from alcohol.

there is nothing u can do, he will not stop drinking till he wants to. Its hard but u cant blame urself for it. Give him a support number and if he wants to he will use it.

He's probably an Alcoholic. One of my relatives is and they have to go to meetings, or at least it's their goal, 3 times a week and they've been sober for 19 months

There are many treatments available that can be effective in reducing or eliminating problems with alcohol. Individual counselling, others involve group counselling, and still others involve self-help meetings and support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotic Anonymous.
You need to do help your brother in law, not only for him, but also for his partner, children, friends, and others.

Well...I dont know what to say bcuz i have lived with a drunk for 8 years...try counsling or alcoholics anonymous classes....how old is he...i might be able to help...email me or IM me at slipknot_fan_chicca@yahoo.com

For him AA or a treatment center, but this must be voluntary
