Windows XP System Reset?

I would to reset my Windows XP Home to it's original settings. I once did this but forgot how to. Noticed, I said system reset and not RESTORE. I do not have the OS CD. Thank You.

When to use it: You recently updated a device driver, and using Device Driver Roll Back did not restore stability to your system. You must be logged on as an administrator to use this feature.
What it does: Restores all system and application settings back to those that were in effect at a point in time you specify. Undoes key application, driver, and operating system file changes made since that time. Does not affect data files.
Available on: Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional.

I do not have the disk either. My windows XP, was already loaded on my computer, when I bought it. These instructions, will clean everything off of your hard drive, so you must back up anything that you want to save. I have done this three times, and I got these instructions, from a computer tech. When starting your computer, tap the F-10 key. click on next-yes-and follow the instructions, that come up on your screen. When you are finished, your computer, will look just like it did, when you first bought it.Do these steps, in order, when finished.
1. set up windows firewall
2. windows update (click express)
3. install your anti-virus program (update)
4. install anti-spyware (update)
This is called a "system recovery"

Best bet, thing to do. Go to www.download.com and download a copy of bitcomet, then use it to look for a copy of windows xp sp2 or whichever version you want and then burn it to disc and then reformat your computer. Would try this out on a spare computer or someone else's first.
