If I remember correctly, yes. That is, if the baby cooperates. I didn't find out the sex of my son until about 5 1/2 months because he wouldn't be still and face the camera. Good luck.

Hi- Im not going to give you silly answeres like some of these people. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and just had my 13th ultrasound and they were barely able to tell the sex. At 16 weeks they will look and make an "educated guess" if you ask them to. Otherwise it depends on the position of the baby completely. I was just now able to find out she is a girl and I was told up to this week that she was a boy. So an "educated guess" is not always right. Be carefull and patient in waiting till they can give you a for sure answere. Best wishes to you.

I had a experiment at 16 weeks they informed me i develop into having a boy 70%. I then had yet another experiment at 22 weeks and they informed me i develop into having a lady ninety 5%. I had somewhat lady. The midwife stated they likely idea it develop right into a boy because the umbilical cord develop into contained in the way. yet at 16 weeks they're a lot less acurate then one later in being pregnant. sturdy success

Yeah. Its not as good a reading as you'd get at 18-20 weeks, but its definitely suitable time for finding the gender.

You baby's genital area is fully developed at 20 weeks, so it's always better to wait until at least that time. Sometimes, then, the ultrasound tech could be mistaken.

It's possible, BUT they usually like to wait until 20-24 weeks to be sure that you can actually tell what the sex is! Evidentally, sonograms are expensive.

That's usually the earliest they can tell. Around here, everyone has one at 18 weeks and they look for the gender then. Good luck!

You generally have to wait until about 20 weeks. The baby's genitalia must have grown enough to be visible on the screen. One more month!

medically 20 weeks is the right time but some sonographers can know before. If you see a hamburger sign then its a girl!!
