Where does that money come from? Many who receive this bonus are just one year out from their college experience. Do people really deserve this amount in a bonus?

IT REALLY SUCKS!!!! PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD ARE STARVING, AND THESE BONEHEADS GET MORE FOR A BONUS THAN MOST POOR PEOPLE COULD EVER COMPREHEND. IT ACTUALLY MAKES ME SICK.

That's one investment banking company. (Goldman Sachs) The money comes from their monstrous 39 billion in earnings this year. Of which they are allocating 16.5 billion to wages and bonuses. These people who work in these companies work long hours, lots of hours and never have much time to themselves. Now I think they deserve it, why not? They worked for it, made sacrifices, I don't see why it's wrong to pay someone on Wall Street who works hard 650K when you pay an athlete that's a crybaby demanding a trade at least 20x that and no one seems to care..

its an average first of all and they must have worked hard for their companies to make somuch as to be able to pay bonuses. no company that does not make profit will pay a bonus. these must be productivity gains.
