Please tell me it's not a chain that runs around your neck but is attached to your ears!!!! Who made that?!!! If it is, i don't think people are looking at you weird, i think its more the idea of the necklace! If it is making you feel that uncomfortable don't wear it, but if you're happy.... who cares what others think.... maybe they are jealous!
