I have to write an essay on the difficulties of mexican immigrants?

i am absolutely against this and against illegal immigrants. i really don't want to write this and if i do it will sound fake.

So are you saying you're against LEGAL Mexican immigrants as well? There's a big difference between going through the whole process of getting naturalized and swimming across the border under the cover of night.

Try focusing on all the paperwork involved with becoming a naturalized citizen.

If Mexico's economy was the same as the US, do you think mexican will still migrate? I guess not.

Poverty is the thing pushing them here. As much as they want to apply for an immigrant visa, they can't pay for the fees and it would take a long time.

When they come here to work, employers pay them lower than the minimum wage but they can't do anything. They'd do anything to have money for their family.

Perhaps you could discuss this with your prof and if they aren't receptive, write about the difficulties in Mexico that drove them to the US and the potential dangerous that occur when they try to sneak across the border.

I think that regardless of your personal views you can at least look at and appreciate the difficulties one might have in trying to immigrate to the US (legally or not). Try to picture yourself moving with your family to say Denmark, tomorrow, with only the stuff you can carry. Think about school, jobs, health care, living situations, shopping, evading the cops, all of it and in a language you dont know. That could at least get you started.
