Essentially it was a suicide-murder, it's her life to do as she wishes, but her son was an innocent child - would have been better if she was rational enough to at least leave him behind to live. Much better if she had sought enough effective professional help and maybe both could have been saved.
Andrea Johnson was remembered as a mother who eventually succumbed to a depression she could no longer fight, tragically committing suicide and taking her son's life. Johnson jumped from the Morningside overpass onto Hwy. 401 below on Dec. 3 with her two-year-old son Sulla Genua. The mother died at the scene while her son passed away en-route to hospital. Her sister, Tanesha, gave the eulogy at a funeral service for both the mother and son.
