I once asked a real blind about dreams who replied that if u have not seen any thing and have no images of any thing how u can dream about the things or happenings in this world. That person was born blind and for rest who looses their eyesight after seeing this world they may dream about it.

If they were born blind, it's a very interesting question; as their unconscious mind wouldn't have any blocks with which to build a dream.
If they weren't born blind, then they would see their dreams, yes.

If they were born blind, they have auditory dreams (meaning dreams with only sounds), if they weren't born blind, then of course. They still know what things look like since they've seen thing before they went blind.

My daughter is "visually impaired" due to progression of her medical disorder. She lost her sight by age of 1 she is now 13. When she dreams she hears things and can see shapes. Shapes of things which I'm just going to assume she was failure with prior to losing her ability to see. She is not completely blind meaning total loss of sight many "blind" people aren't completely lost of visual sight some see shadows or very bright lights. My daughter can still see shadows and tell the difference between light and dark {IE bright lights}. When she remembers dreams she doesn't talk about what someone was wearing or the color of flowers she talks about the sounds {what was said}.

But after all like Ive always told her you dont have to see something with your eyes to see it with your heart.

i would say yes, dreams are visions of what your mind is thinking so i would guess that since blind people, like other people have the ability to use their mind they would be able to "see" in their dreams

Yes of course, I wonder if they may not see colours though.

If the person has always been blind they may see shapes and shades of grey perhaps?

Geez, the whole irony of this question is that a blind person couldn't even read this and answer it for you! Though i've often wondered the same thing.

If they are born blind then they cannot.
If they "became" blind, then they can.
Can you dream with your eyes closed?
