if u have just been in an avalanch and are stuck how do u know which way is up?
if there is earth all around you and u want to start digging then how do u know which way is up?

Hi, Yes it is very easy to tell which way is up or down, all you have to do is spit, the spit will always fall down! due to gravity.

That's the problem. One does not know. I hear things, not good, like the one about the avalanche victim being found frozen a mere two inches from the top.

I bet its hard to tell and lots of times - you can't tell which way is up or down or anything.
