It needs a 350 watt power supply but my computer doesnt have that. On the website it says 350 watt power supply needed and then it says adapter included does that mean it uses an external power source?

the card is the radeon x1600 pro with 512mb and pci express interface.

No, it just would take power from your power supply. It's most likely an adapter that fits onto one of the drive power plugs and acts like a Y so you can still plug in your drives and have power to your video card at the same time. As long as your computer's supply is 350 or more, you'll be okay. Power supplies are pretty cheap these days, around $20 if you go to a computer specialty store.

I'm not aware of any graphic cards that use an EXTERNAL power source. But when it says adapter, it could mean anything. You could just buy a bigger power supply.. Go to www.newegg.com, and go to power supply, and pick you out one. They have the best prices..

no it will work with the internal supply
