Piano
Because of its' difficult technique. If you're playing wind-instrument you have to learn how to express one melody. Strings-they have quite narrow posibilities and biting sound. And when you play piano, you have to work good with all your fingers, you have to hear many melodies at the same time. Piano is the king of all instruments.

Yeah , i'd say "Bagpipes" also. It looks like you have to blow into the bag part , and then squeeze it to make the notes come out, then you have those other deals you actually play the notes with, and don't forget to keep blowing air into the bag at the same time. That's like 3 things to do simultaneously! What other instrument requires THAT?!

I would say the french horn. You have to buzz your lips different for higher or lower notes and you have to move your hand in and out of the bell to make the notes right. They dont have precise fingerings. They use the four (I think) keys to open/close different things but have to move their hand to find the exact note. My frind played it in high school and she was very talented but she practice all the time to get it right. I just played flute/piccolo all we have to do is memorize a few fingerings (some of our notes are the same fingerings you just have to blow harder for higher octaves) and learn to hold your instrument stragiht (hahaha-never happens)

Any instrument is hard to learn if you don't try and practice.

Without the slightest doubt the organ, followed by the piano, then all the rest. But they are all impossible if you ain't got the talent!

French Horn and Basoon. Basoon has highly intricate fingerings( and a whole lot of them mind you). And French Horn requires a lot of pitching skill.

trombone is a difficult one, as are the violin, viola, cello and bass.....they all require a good "ear"

but the most difficult is the one you do not have the patience to sit down and practice practice practice with.....they will not play themselves....
