Do i need to chain my car's tires to go to Mountain High? cuz this the first time me and my friends drive there. Thank You.

going to the mountains in the winter? unless u have a 4x4, u might regret not having chains. in this area, u cant afford to skimp on cheap stuff. get high quality chains, and learn how to put them on. on some mountain roads, having chains isnt just a suggestion, it's a requirement.

As suggested, you should practice installation of whatever chains you purchase. You will be required to possess chains in certain areas at certain times of the year, but you may or may not be required to install them. Many mountain passes put up signs indicating that you must install chains in order to proceed - especially during bad storms. Have a great trip.

you do if there's a sign that says to put on chains and theres a wide spot in the road
