What holiday greeting do I use for my democratic friends...please help!?

THis weekend I'm going to a house party of democrats (used to republicans. SHould I start memorizing the following holiday greeting??

We also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures. That was so funny. I had not planned to send out Christmas Cards but now I will print that and had it to everyone from the mailman to the Target Cashier. Happy Celebrations and Stuff. Oh the heck with it Merry Christmas to all.

If you think they'll find it funny, sure! However I think it'd be better to put it on a greeting card instead of memorizing it.

but then again if they are your friends you should know what holiday they celebrate.
