I would like to know if my boyfriend's best friend meets me and approves of me? Is it really important to my boyfriend to know that I made a good impression on his friend? I met his best mate a week ago and my boyfriend said in a jocky way that I should make the effort to make a good impression.. I think I did as his friend made effort with me.

You and his best bud are the most important people in his life other than his family and he probably want you two to get along as he will want to spend as much time as possible.
