I have interviewed hundreds of young people for employment over the years. I always leaned towards the ones that were the most honest and sincere in their desires. They were : Looking for a job that they thought they would be competent and comfortable with at that moment. Were reliable and had sources to confirm that fact. Had a lifelong good work ethic. (Even school work ethic was cited). Had a desire to work in this particular field and hoped to advance. Were satisfied with the compensation and benefits but explained that they desired to improve their skills and education to advance. Lastly, their objective was to capably perform in a career that would satisfy their desires for happiness.

Be specific! Write the "job" you want! For example: Seeking a position as an electrical engineer.

Don't ever start doing the "Seeking a position that will utilize my education and experience." What the heck does that tell me?? Or even worse "Seeking a position where I will be able to make a difference in the corporation." Well, I need the toilets cleaned, and that will make a difference!
