Why is there so much attention given to matters of gay? Really, who cares? I don't even know what gay is. I know I like women often times way too much. That is just the way I am. So If someone likes someone of the same sex I figure that is just the way they are also. What is the big deal? Was this as big of an issue in the past?

there is nothing new about same sex relationships. The ancient Greeks had no problem with it. It has been around as long as people have been around. The reason it's such an issue these days is because as a group, gay people have decided that discrimination against them is not acceptable. There is no agenda, only the right to the same rights as everyone else.

Actually, the evolution of the word "gay" is interesting.
It used to mean carefree and happy.
Then, it meant homosexual.
Now, it means lame, cheesy, stupid, when people say "That is SOO gay!"
But, I mean, some of the "great" artists were bisexual, so...
But media-driven frenzy decides what is put at the forefront. So, Britney's crotch, and hate speeches, and Pauly Shore are what we get. No wonder we are so anemic in our knowledge.

Someone decided gay men should be allowed to dress people up and put make up on them, got them to be the definition of glam... and now everybody is gay!

Truthfully though I think a majority of gays are fake and self made.
