Is it possibel to remove the lyrics/words froma song for free?

I need to remove the lyrics from a Hannah Montana song for a french project. I basicly need to write new lyrics for it.

Try downloading the song (from example...limewire...) with Karaoke in the title. Many Karaoke versions are available and no one sings on it...
You might find a karaoke album with the song you need on it on amazon.com...but you'll have to pay for that...
Is that what you meant by removing the lyrics?
