****-eyed (or cockeyed as dictionaries prefer it today) is a relatively new word, first appearing in print in the late 19th century. A ****-eye (or cocked eye) was originally an eye with something wrong with it, an eye that is turned inward or outward, that is out of alignment, off-center in the sense a cocked hat is a hat off-center or out of alignment. (Some people distinguish cross-eyed, when one or both eyes are turned inward, from ****-eyed, when one of both eyes point outward.)

It originates from people who were cross eyed, not a common sight these days, but I remember as a child in the 1950's that there were lots of people whose eyes looked in different directions. They were described as cross-eyed, skenning or
c ock-eyed and the phrased came into general use to describe something that wasn't quite straight or correct.

If by ****eyed you mean c*ck eyed, then it means you eyes aren't even. One is higher than the other. Or like when you raise on eyebrow and look at somebody funny, thats a c*ck eyed grin.
