Memory loss is psychological, thank you very much. Weather it just be trouble transfering working memory into long term, dementia, or delerium. I'm a psychology major, I know what I am talking about.

I think you are looking for empathy here and you'll get it from me.

In my lifetime, i have lost my car in Downtown toronto, I went away for a few days and forgot where i parked it.

I once lost my new glasses the day i picked them up, i got home to show my mom and they were gone.

Same thing for a cd i bought. I got home to listen to it and it wasn't in the case. (the Doors Morrison hotel)

I also just lost my girlfriend who i was attached to for seven years .

As opposed to the geek up above here, i think this question is very psychological, because losing things is a queston of habits and habits are part of behaviour and behaviour is the cornerstone of psychology.

Which brings me to my conclusion, those who lose things have to modify their behaviour and evolve into routines, including preventive measures.

For example i always hide my keys somewhere near the door, so i don't need to worry about losing them.

I have a specific place for my glasses, and i always have a routine for remembering important places.

It sucks being anal about remembering stuff, because forgetting often goes hand in hand with a carefree lifestyle. But getting burned a few times changes that, and a few good habits can go a long way.

Now where can I get some poutine around here?

Most definatley!!! I can put something in my computer chair, and then go grab a soda can, open it, and atake a drink, then I start yelling at my husband "what did I do with my [whatever]!!?". It's in the most obvious place, but can never seem to remember where I put it!!

Then when I find it, I'm like "how the hell did it get there??!!!". I wonder sometimes, what' wrong with me?? Why can't I remember what I did less then a minute ago!? LOL

But when it comes to bigger things, birthdays, anniversaries, likes and dislikes of people, I'm ok. I forget appointments tho. Even major ones, like shots for my kids. LOL I have no idea why. Maybe I should try taking, I think it's, Ginko Biloba, for the memory. Or try eating more fish!

Yes. I am very disorganized and I lose things all the time! Though I do like my head very much. It would be a shame to lost it.

I don't think so. My visionary nerves would be wired to my brain which controls my organ system and body, so the nerves would find my head.

I noticed, you even misplaced your question. This has nothing to do with psychology.
