Your key fob will have to be coded to your car Ecu its a dealer job takes .25 hr Mick UK own and work on Audi.

It may be a case of visiting your local Audi dealer, take your registration document with you, your drivers licence, if it hasnt a photo then take your passport and recent bills to prove identidy etc. you may think this is a lot of hassle but its your car they are protecting.

you can do it manually its a bit long winded . all the info is on auto data cd on eBay or auto data book,or go to a Audi specialist .
